Privacy policy
Protecting your personal data matters to us. Below we explain which data we process on this website, for what purpose – and what rights you have.
1. Controller
BELHAG AG
Zikadenweg 27a, 3006 Bern, Switzerland
Telephone: +41 31 330 12 30
Email: info@belhag.ch
2. Principles
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (FADP). This website uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking services. Fonts and all website components are delivered from our own server in Switzerland.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by cyon AG, Basel (Switzerland). When the website is accessed, technical access data is automatically stored in server log files (e.g. IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type). This data serves to ensure operation, security and error analysis and is automatically deleted after a short period.
4. Forms (fault report and project enquiry)
If you submit a fault report or a project enquiry through our website, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, address, telephone number, email address, details of the fault or project and any photographs). This information is sent as a PDF document by email to our mailbox and is used solely to handle your enquiry and to carry out the work. Our email service is operated by Microsoft (Microsoft 365); data may be processed on servers within the EU/EEA. We retain enquiry data for as long as is necessary for processing and for any statutory retention obligations.
5. Google Maps
A map from the Google Maps service is embedded on the contact page to make it easier for you to find us. When the contact page is opened, data (in particular your IP address) is therefore transmitted to Google. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Further information can be found in Google's privacy policy.
6. Disclosure of data
We do not pass your personal data on to third parties unless this is necessary to perform a contract (e.g. to service technicians we have commissioned), required by law, or you have consented. Our technical service providers (hosting, email) process data only on our behalf.
7. Your rights
You have the right to information about the personal data we process, and to have it corrected or deleted, provided that no statutory retention obligations prevent this. To do so, please contact info@belhag.ch.
